Located in Springdale Utah by Zion national park. Had a beer and wife had a Cantarito mixed drink. Wife liked it, place was ok.

If you have never had Mexican food before DO NOT let this be your first experience. Their flavor is as inauthentic as it gets. The salsa and guacamole taste like they came from a can. The tortillas taste store bought and reheated on site. the beef, rice and beans tasted very bland, insipid even. Even the horchata is made with powder, Something else I thought was unusual is that you pick up a menu then go order at the counter, you pay and right away are asked how much tip you would like to give, you haven't tasted your food or dealt with any waiter or waitress and you must decide if they justify (and how much) a tip.The staff was very friendly and the restrooms clean. The outdoors patio is nice, too.

Great Mexican food with fantastic outdoor seating

Ambience was lacking but the food is solid and authentic. It's a fast casual type eatery where you pick up menus at the front door and walk over to the cashier to order. There is a small self serve salsa bar that has great fresh salsa. There is one very spicy option that is delicious. The shredded beef hard shell tacos were delicious and the Mexican beef stew (the half serving was sizable) was pretty good. The carne asada plate was a good value as well.

Too much to eat! 1 plate is enough for 2 . Not a sit down restaurant, pay at counter and then they bring you the food. Was good.

The food here was tasty and very hot - obviously not prepared until I ordered it. I had a margarita that was probably the best mixed drink I've ever had in Utah (I know this is a mixed compliment). My favorite thing about Casa De Amigos was the service. It seemed like a family business (although I'm not sure). The waitstaff all worked as a team, friendly and fun. It was a joyful experience. I'd recommend it to my best friend.

Great place to grab some Mexican food after a long day of hiking. I went with the carne asada plate and some chips n salsa - did not regret it.

Home style Mexican restaurant in Zions. If you are a fan of great Mexican food this is a great place to eat at while in Zion.

The food was great! My wife had the tostada plate and they made it vegetrian, they said they could make any plate vegetrian. I had the chimichanga with chicken, it was chrisp and hot. Both plates were big portions well worth the money. Sorry no pic I ate it all.

Foos was good. Guacamole was awesome. Was a little disappointed that it wasnt a full waiter service experience after a long day of hiking.

Very pleasantly surprised with this place. Came here mostly because it was close to our hotel and I wanted to sit outside, but the food was really good. I was shocked to see the negative reviews on here to be honest. I got the fish tacos and veggie tacos and they were really flavorful and great. The guacamole was incredibly fresh. I would definitely come back but only if I could sit outside. The ambiance inside is lacking since it’s fast casual. Overall great casual spot in Zion area.

Great Food. Great Atmosphere. The Shredded Chicken Taco was packed with very tender tasty chicken. The salsa bar was excellent!!!!

The food was delicious, service friendly and attentive and the best horchata and fresh carrot juice (juiced in house) ever!

Prices were steep. Waited in line for a long time to order. The guacamole was very good. Entrees were okay.

Really glad we ate here instead of the higher end places in town. Big portions and delicious!

It was a bitbofna challenge without table service. Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was nice.

Very quick to order and get your foods. Small and cozy inside with a solid amount of seating outside. Made for a great way to replenish the fuel cells after hiking all over Zion.

We went in-between lunch and dinner time on a weekday. So it wasn't very busy. Service was good. Place had a nice spanish rustic charm. Clean. We ordered veggie fajita. Was OK not to much flavor. Chicken enchilada with red sauce was also alright. Nothing exceptional. Had a three item salsa bar. Red sauce and gean sauce was good. They let us fill up our water bottles. That's very nice of then. Bathrooms were nice and clean.

The one star is for the margarita... but it was the worst food we’ve had in Zion ... I had a chicken taco salad that was the darkest meat I’ve seen and did not taste good at all. Could not eat it. My partner had the enchilada which he describes as “microwaved real good.” For much better Mexican food we recommend Rositas or Whiptail Grill.

Had a very good meal here with the wife. Good views from here and had good service. Easy parking in the back and looked like they were renovating to be larger. The food was good and for the price got a decent amount. The guacamole was really good too and got chips and salsa with the meals. Also very close to the entrance of Zion national park.

A good Mexican 🍴 that serves a very tasty chimichanga

Came here for lunch after hiking in Zion and it hit the spot. I ordered the chile relleno and it was delicious! The sauce was amazing and it had just the right amount of cheese. It came with extra sides (beans, rice, and tortillas) and I was able to make veterinarian tacos from them. It was more than enough food but I couldn't not order chips and dip. The chips had a nice crunch and weren't too salty. The salsa bar had a nice selection of salsas to choose from.I would definitely come back here again and try more items from their menu.

Good food, fast staff, and a fun easy place to walk to!

Went there late afternoon after a long hot day in Zion and this place hit the spot. The place were mostly empty. The food came out quickly. The burritos were huge and tasted great.

Being from San Diego it's hard to find good authentic Mexican food outside of California but this place was pretty darn good. The salsa bar was fresh and flavorful. I had the chili relleno and chicken enchilada plate and it was so good. The chili relleno was better than most places I've had. I highly recommend it! The store is clean and the customer service was quick and friendly.

This restaurant was AMAZING! Food was SO DELICIOUS, served hot, the homemade salsa was to die for!! Fast service, yummy food, all you can ask for at a Mexican place :)

One of the very few options for vegetarians in this area. The food was ok, but the ordering process and service needs a lot more improvement when there is heavy crowd. We went in at the end of the day, had to wait in a long line, wait for food to be served and had to contend with bugs especially if seated outside. There are better options on this road than this restaurant if u do not have dietary restrictions.

I never thought anyone could screw up Mexican food so badly but this place was shockingly terrible. The food took at least 30 minutes to come out and after such a long wait you would expect it to be fresh but not only was it not, it was horrible and literally inedible. We ended up leaving more than half our plates untouched despite being extremely hungry after a long intense hike. Nothing good to say about this place, unfortunately. Zero redeeming qualities, I would give it zero stars if I could.

Reasonably priced authentic Mexican food with a nice, shaded, street side patio to dine on. Friendly staff, fast service, and they serve Coke in bottles.

I was pretty skeptical of this place because of a few negative reviews. There was a bit of confusion regarding where to order food, where to order booze (order food at the counter similar to a fast food joint, order alcohol at your table via your server...probably another stupid Utah alcohol law). Our food came about 5 minutes after ordering, and everything was delicious. Huge selection of meats for tacos, and the prices are very reasonable for being right outside a national park. I had 3 tacos a la carte, and my bill was around 10 bucks (before ordering a margarita, which was also very tasty). Highly recommend.

Truly disappointing. The place was near by our hotel so we decided to check it out. You order food at the counter but you can only order alcohol at the table. No one came by to ask about drinks. Place was dirty and the food was overpriced and bland. Worst of all the salsa was sweet! Gross. Save your money for a different restaurant.

Best Mexican in town. We went to a few others and they were all cafes that served Mexican dishes. This is actually a Mexican restaurant. It has margaritas and the best prices in town.

Very authentic Mexican . Great margaritas, great horchata. Pastor fajitas are amazing.

One of about 20 restaurants in springdale. Mexican food. Easy dining. But you need salt for every dish....

Service was bad. Food took 40 min to come out to us The food quality was just lazy made. My friend got sick from eating a taco and tostada plate. They need to update their menu and get better restaurant service.

Went there for lunch after a morning trek. The food was very good. The Huarache with carnitas was excellent.

I got food poisoning from a grilled chicken taco I ate at this restaurant on Sunday, Oct. 13th, 2019. Be careful folks!!!

Not bad food with a great view and friendly employees

Guacamole was more tomatoes than avocado. But their spicy tomato salsa made up for it. Their chips was definitely on par with any good Mexican food place I've ever been to. Their spicy shrimp had some serious kick. So beware if you order that. Their carnitas tacos were very hefty portioned. Overall a good option in Springdale.
